30 jobs in the PR and marketing world

There’s an opening at Gallup in Washington, D.C., which was just named the best city for PR pros in a ValuePenguin study.

ValuePenguin published a list of the 35 best cities in the United States for PR specialists. Average salary, cost of living, and demand for communicators were considered to determine the winners.

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, more than 208,000 people have jobs in PR in the United States. PR pros earn an average annual salary of roughly $64,000, with PR and fundraising managers earning an average of $115,400 each year.

Washington, D.C. made the top of the list with an average annual salary of more than $97,000 for PR pros. New York; San Francisco; Madison, Wisconsin; Austin, Texas; Sacramento, California; Philadelphia; Trenton, New Jersey; Lansing, Michigan; and Boston also made it into the top 10.
