30 jobs in the PR and marketing world
Public relations is not only one of the best careers for women, but also one of the top internship choices, according to recent studies.
According to a recent CareerCast report, public relations made the list of the 10 best careers for women. The company reported the industry’s annual median salary was more than $95,000, with a 13 percent projected growth in positions. Event planning, as well as advertising and promotions management, also made the list of top careers.
InternMatch conducted an internship survey recently, and found that marketing, PR and advertising make up the trifecta for most students seeking internships. Nearly 36 percent said they look for communications internships. Nearly 42 percent of PR and marketing internship seekers are female.
