A recent study by NerdWallet looked at 370 of the U.S.’s largest metropolitan areas and found the best 10 places for tech jobs: Silicon Valley in California; Huntsville, Alabama; Seattle; Durham, North Carolina; Boulder, Colorado; the San Francisco Bay area; Washington D.C.; Raleigh, North Carolina; Austin, Texas; and Boston. Each of these locales has more than the national average of 18 tech jobs for every 1,000 employees.
The study found tech hubs throughout the country, so interested PR and marketing pros shouldn’t have to relocate to Silicon Valley or Seattle to work for the company of their dreams.
However, for candidates who do crave the California sun, this week’s featured job listing offers you that chance: Yelp is seeking a social media specialist in its San Francisco office.
The position requires managing and expanding the company’s corporate social media presence, as well as increasing the brand’s online engagement and business goals.
