4 famous F-bombs from ousted Yahoo CEO Carol Bartz
The notoriously foul-mouthed chief executive was fired yesterday—via telephone. Here, we fondly recall some of her more famous F-bombs.
While the company searches for Bartz’s replacement, Yahoo Chief Financial Officer Tim Morse will serve as interim CEO. News of the ouster caused the company’s stocked to jump Wednesday morning.
The firing happened over the phone, which Bartz noted in a brief memo to employees. Given Bartz’s very public use of the F-bomb in past, we can only imagine what she said after receiving the call. (Surely it was something that would make the equally gutter-mouthed Rahm Emanuel proud.)
Let’s revisit some of the F-bombs that made headlines:
I’ll “dropkick to f*cking Mars” employees who leak information to bloggers. That’s what Bartz told Yahoo employees at an all-hands meeting when she first took over the company reins in January 2009. As far as we know, no one was actually dropkicked (not to Mars, anyway).
