5 location-based apps: What’s right for your brand?

Sure, there’s Foursquare, but before making a final decision for your company, there a few more you might want to consider checking in on.

Each location-based service provides a variety of benefits and features that might align more with your company goals or help push sales.

Foursquare

Foursquare is one of the most brand-ready applications, including partnerships and campaigns with Bravo TV, The History Channel, Mazda, Zagat, and MTV.

Through local deals, venue pages, consumer tips, badges, and a free analytics dashboard, brands can reward customers to push sales, while tracking the overall campaign.

Boloco, the Boston burrito joint, uses Foursquare to leverage customer loyalty through a mayorship program. Consumers become “mayors” when they correctly check in more than any other Foursquare user. Businesses can see which users are checking in to their local franchises most frequently and provide them with an incentive to continue their loyalty.
