1. Send out a monthly press release.

For many reasons, press releases have fallen a bit out of favor.

For one thing, if you are using press releases for SEO purposes you are wasting your time. Sending out a press release every month or so serves to keep your brand in the mind of reporters and other media types.

Reporters might not run with every press release, but less than an hour a month can get you a bit of column space or a small article or two. Press releases are also a great tool for keeping shareholders and clients up to date.

It’s also nice to have a publicly available series of releases for your company’s special events and accomplishments.
