Study: Nearly 60 percent of consumers use social media to vent

It seems social media is (g)ripe for complaints. A study from the Society for New Communications Research found that 59 percent of respondents to a survey said they use social media to “vent” about a customer-care experience. The survey also found that 74 percent said they choose companies/brands based on others’ customer-care experiences shared online.
