After beating goes viral, Texas judge does interview making him look even worse
Texas Judge William Adams told a reporter: ‘I don’t want to get into this right now, because as you can see my life’s been made difficult over this child.’ Oh, really?

But have you seen the interview Adams gave to a Corpus Christi TV station?
As if this guy couldn’t look any worse, he offers up these sound bites, telling a KZTV reporter:
“I lost my temper, spanked her. Her mother was there. She wasn’t hurt. It was a long time ago. … I don’t want to get into this right now, because as you can see my life’s been made difficult over this child. … In my mind I haven’t done anything wrong except discipline my child after she was caught stealing. … It looks worse than it is.”
If Adams were to seek PR counsel—and in the unlikely event that someone took him as a client—PR professional Ryan McCormick offered his take in a blog post:
“He should immediately make a tearful public apology to his daughter and then resign and check into a mental health clinic.”
