Another blow to the Dems: Air America radio closes shop

And that’s a wrap for Air America. On Thursday afternoon, Air America Media ended its live programming in preparation for filing chapter 7 bankruptcy and ultimately going out of business. The liberal radio network, which at one time featured hosts Al Franken and Rachel Maddow, will run encore programming until Monday, when the network goes silent. All employees will be laid off.
