Another one bites the dust? New York Times Company to notify feds it will shutter Boston Globe in 60 days

The Boston Globe is one step closer to the glue factory. After last-minute negotiations failed to produce millions of dollars in union concessions, the Globe ’s parent company The New York Times Co. said that today it will file a required 60-day notice of its plan to shutter the paper under the Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification law.
