“The dark side” is looking awfully bright to unemployed (or soon-to-be unemployed) journalists, according to former journalist Richard Laermer, owner of RLM PR firm. (The dark side is, of course, a derogatory term typically used by reporters to describe public relations.) But can journalists hack it in the PR world? Laermer, who’s seen his fair share of reporters fail at PR, created a list of scenarios to determine who is, and who isn’t, cut out for PR.
