As TV reporters become one-man bands, PR pros can step up to assist

Want to score coverage on a TV news broadcast? Instead of slamming over worked broadcast journalists with press releases, why not give them a hand? The Washington Post ’s Howard Kurtz reported Monday on the “one-man band” TV journalists, who are expected to report, shoot, and edit their own stories — while taking pay cuts from their employers. It sounds like they’d sure appreciate your help setting up an interview or getting that perfect b-roll shot.
