Bank robber arrested after e-mailing newspaper to correct factual error about heist

This is real. A 19-year-old bank robber in Germany e-mailed police and two newspapers to point out factual errors related to a bank heist he pulled, according to Reuters. Daily Bild reported that the thief “mocked police for getting his age, height, and accent wrong then pointed out he escaped in a car, not on foot.” Police traced the e-mail and arrested him hours later.
