Bitly offers marketers more analytics

Marketing professionals using the enterprise version of the link-shortening tool now have access to insights on when, where and how links are shared.

The new tool aims to help marketers “understand how customers interact with their content,” according to a Bitly blog post. The service claims 800 million links are shortened every month, generating 10 billion clicks. Audience Intel promises to share insights from those clicks with enterprise users.

With the feature, Bitly aims to give marketers actionable insights that can help inform their content choices.
