More times than you can count?

Anyone who reads or writes press releases on a regular basis sees it, including Mashable‘s business and marketing editor Todd Wasserman. It’s even inspired him to launch a Tumblr blog with examples. The blog is titled “Everyone’s Excited in Press Releases,” and recent entries include:

• “I am excited to have the opportunity to help shape that future with Rob and the rest of the team.”
• “We’re excited to bring mobile broadband to Clarksburg.”

And my personal favorite:

• “Peter Manos, Managing Partner at Arlington Capital Partners said, ‘We are very excited to leverage Scott’s experience with high growth companies providing technology solutions to large, blue-chip customers. His operational and strategic depth will be an asset for both the company and its customers.'”

The jargon in that quote is awe-inspiring.
