CNN’s Don Lemon becomes a meme; the network stays silent
The anchor held up a sign with the n-word on it and social media went into a frenzy. The attention doesn’t seem to be negative, ratings-wise.
CNN personality Don Lemon held up the rebel flag and a sign bearing the N-word on his network yesterday, and the Internet turned him into a meme.
Lemon held up the signs with on-screen text reading, “Does this offend you?” after President Barack Obama earned some online scorn for using the “n-word” in a discussion of racism on Marc Maron’s “WTF” podcast. Here’s the original:
