Consumers, brands respond to Burger King’s Halloween sandwich

The fast-food chain’s holiday burger comes with an interesting side effect. Though the brand hasn’t responded, conversation on social media is growing.

More adventurous fast foodies have certainly tried it, and will continue to try it until Halloween is over. There’s a chance those folks will have a surprise waiting for them in the bathroom afterward.

Twitter is alight with tales of people who tried the Halloween Whopper and ended up with green poop.

Don’t believe me? There’s a hashtag: #GreenPoop.

It’s even made it to late night shows, including “At Midnight”:

What makes it worse is that now people think it’s OK to post photos of the aftermath on social media platforms. This is your fault, Burger King.

Speaking of Burger King, surely the brand has a response to all this mess, right?
