The Senate will soon vote on the Family Smoking Prevention and Tobacco Control Act, which gives the Food and Drug Administration regulatory control over tobacco. Guess who’s the biggest supporter of this legislation? Phillip Morris, the nation’s biggest tobacco company. One thing this bill does is place greater restrictions on tobacco advertising.
