First-ever Foursquare check-in from space

It has finally happened — someone has checked in from space on Foursquare. This is probably some sort of watershed. On Oct. 22, “Commander Douglas H. Wheelock became the first human to ever use a location-based service from space,” according to Foursquare . “Doug checked in from the International Space Station and unlocked the new NASA Explorer Badge.” Looks like the U.S. beat Russia on this one. — Jackson Wightman
