When someone tweeted a picture of an ad covered with racist graffiti to the clothing company, it hopped to action, replacing the ad with a fresh one.

Gap quickly responded to Iftikhar to get more information. The company’s Twitter header was also changed to show the ad that had been defaced.

The defaced ad was replaced with a fresh one, prompting Iftikhar to praise the company and “the power of social media.” (It’s also likely a good sign Gap was prepared for this very contingency.)
