Good idea for a pitch—if the PR pro had done her research
A PR pro sent mommy blogger Katie Allison Granju a pitch about reviewing or promoting a brand of infant formula—too bad the blogger had written essays, articles and a book on why she thinks it’s unethical to advertise infant formula directly to consumers. “Sending me a pitch to promote infant formula was about as productive as sending Sarah Palin a pitch asking her to promote Barack Obama on her PAC’s website,” Granju blogged.
