Harold Burson to donate $50K to help increase diversity in PR field

The donation from the founding chairman of Burson-Marsteller goes to the nonprofit Lagrant Foundation.

Harold Burson, founding chairman of PR giant Burson-Marsteller, has promised to personally donate $50,000 to the Lagrant Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to increasing the number of ethnic minorities in PR, marketing, and advertising.

The money will be distributed over the course of five years, from 2011 to 2015, with a donation of $10,000 per year.
