Has this guy revolutionized the social media job search?

His name is Matthew Epstein, and to land a job at Google he launched a social media marketing campaign to sell himself, starting with a video résumé that’s gone viral.

It’s no gag. The video has grabbed more than 400,000 views and scored some press attention. Word has it that Google has reached out to the guy and told him to go through the appropriate hiring channels.

Epstein, meanwhile, has updated his blog on a daily basis with metrics and anecdotes about what his job search has achieved, effectively turning his quest for a job at Google into a social media marketing campaign.
