Hasbro slammed for omitting Rey character from ‘Star Wars’ game

A disturbance in The Force recently sent Hasbro’s PR team to work answering complaints. Many consumers called the brand’s absence of the female lead sexist.

That’s exactly what some consumers have done about Hasbro’s “Star Wars”-themed Monopoly board game.

Some fans of the franchise have complained that the board game includes the characters Kylo Ren, Darth Vader, Finn and Luke Skywalker—but not Rey.

The character’s storyline was one of the main plot points in the latest “Star Wars” installment, so it would certainly make sense to include her. Several people who purchased the game took to Twitter to voice their concerns under:
