Healthy pizza joint in New Orleans making money from Twitter promotions
Not sure how Twitter can help your company or brand? Well, a New Orleans-based pizza place, Naked Pizza, has promoted itself using Twitter, and brought in 15 percent of its business one day from a promotion on the micro-blogging site. “Every phone call was tracked, every order was measured by where it came from, and it told us very quickly that Twitter is useful,” Jeff Leach, the restaurant’s co-founder, told Advertising Age . Naked Pizza, which hopes to grow nationally, counts Mark Cuban as a backer.
