Here we go again: Forbes blogger declares PR ‘dead’

Sound like hogwash to you—or is the author on to something?

Just ask Forbes.com blogger and vice president at Stern + Associations Jim Nichols, who heralds the profession’s passing in a blog post published on Thursday.

I know, you’ve heard it all beforeagain and again. But before you go calling BS, you may want to hear Nichols out.

While the influx of press releases I get remind me on a daily basis that PR is alive and well, Nichols points out that it’s no longer the same beast. And the killer of PR as we all knew it?
