Hershey Co.’s Reese’s grabs attention with new product

The brand’s latest candy concept is making consumers crazy online. Here’s what all the fuss is about.

Brand Managers for Reese’s know how to cause a stir on the Internet.

The Hershey’s-owned candy brand raised eyebrows and tantalized sweets lovers by teasing a combination of its ubiquitous peanut butter cups and its bite-sized pieces on Facebook:

That’s right—we may actually see a Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup-Reese’s Pieces hybrid in our lifetime. For peanut butter/chocolate combo lovers, this hit was too delicious to ignore.

Brand managers jumped at the chance to engage with excited customers.
