Home page of News Corp.-owned Sun redirects to bogus Rupert Murdoch obit

The obituary claims Murdoch was found dead in his garden. Apparently, the site was hacked. UPDATE: LulzSec is taking credit for the hack.

It appears hackers have overtaken the site, causing the redirect.

UPDATE: LulzSec, the group of hackers behind security breeches at CIA, PBS, and Sony, have taken credit for The Sun hack. The group tweeted on Monday: “The Sun’s homepage now redirects to the Murdoch death story on the recently-owned New Times website. Can you spell success, gentlemen?” The Sun website is still redirecting (to http://new-times.co.uk/sun), but the site to which it redirects is down.

Rupert Murdoch, the controversial media mogul, has reportedly been found dead in his garden, police announce.
