Hot rumor: Facebook to unveil ‘major’ redesign of profiles this week
One aim of the redesign is for users to stay on the social network for longer periods of time. Look for the grand announcement this week, sources told Mashable.
Unnamed sources have told Mashable that the redesign will be “major.” Among its goals are to get users to stay on the site for longer periods. (An ambitious goal considering millennials are already on the site from nine-to-five.)
The new redesign will apparently incorporate Facebook’s new music and media platform, which Mashable detailed a couple of weeks ago.
