How brands are marking St. Patrick’s Day in 2022

From educating consumers about the proper spelling of ‘Paddy’ to helping friends and family gather in style, brand managers are hoping everyone feels Irish in 2022.

There’s a bit of pent-up excitement for St. Patrick’s Day this year among brands as many revelers plan to party after more than two years of pandemic lockdowns and restrictions.

“We’ve waited three long years for this: St. Patrick’s Day is coming back, and so are all our favorite traditions,” wrote Guinness, the famous Irish beer brand in a press release ahead of the holiday.

“Pints flowing at our favorite pubs with our favorite people. Green – hats, shirts, everything — as far as the eye can see. The sights and sounds of parades taking over our main roads and streets. Guinness is here to remind us how much fun we can have together.”
