Many consumers use patient feedback from rating and review sites to help select a doctor just like they would use reviews on TripAdvisor to find the best travel destination.
It’s often their first impression.
Health care organizations don’t have control of those reviews, but a growing number are now taking their Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (CAHPS) survey data and publishing those positive and negative reviews on their physician’s profile page.
