Infographic: The 20 most social-media-savvy CMOs in the Fortune 100

Chief marketing officers at some of the largest companies are woefully lagging when it comes to their social media activity. Fortunately, there are some who excel at it.

According to a recent study by Seeking Omega, most Fortune 100 companies apparently don’t think it’s a priority for these CMOs and CCOs.

Seeking Omega‘s Mark Fidelman writes:

“In our analysis only 15 of the 143 CMO’s and Chief Communication Executives in the Fortune 100 we studied have active Twitter Accounts. Worse, 15 percent of them have a net zero social footprint (meaning no social activity).”

Fidelman said that according to one survey, 53 percent of the companies he studied plan to increase their social media budgets.
