Though best practice is to use analytics tools to monitor when users are engaging with your content, an infographic from Oberlo shares guidelines for the ideal times to post on some of the major social media channels.
For example, Saturdays and Sundays are the worst days to post on Twitter, but the best for Pinterest, according to the infographic.

Other insights include:
- The best time to post on Instagram is between 11 a.m.–2 p.m. (lunch time) and 7–9 p.m.
- Facebook gets the best engagement from 1–4 p.m. because workers tend to check it during down time at work.
- Tuesday—Thursday from 10–11 a.m. tend to be the best hours to post on LinkedIn because it’s used by recruiters and salespeople during business hours.
