Instagram debuts profile pages for the Web

Several brands have embraced Instagram’s new look on the Web, which closely resembles that of a Facebook profile.

The company, which is owned by Facebook, is launching profile pages for the Web. But the company isn’t fully turning on its mobile roots, as you still won’t be able to upload photos to the service through the Web.

Before you get too jazzed, realize that everyone just thinks the new Instagram profiles look like Facebook pages.

Thus far, a number of brands including Nike, MTV, and Burberry have launched their Web profiles on Instagram.
