In case you missed it, welcome to the most famous puddle in all of Britain: #DrummondPuddleWatch.

To summarize, the Drummond Central marketing agency in Drummond Central, Newcastle upon Tyne, set up a livestream Periscope of a sizeable puddle outside of its office on Wednesday.

From there, #DrummondPuddleWatch took off. The hashtag attracted 20,000 viewers interested in seeing whether people who encountered the puddle would go around it, over it, or through it. The scene was pretty spectacular—or, as this Twitter user put it:

#DrummondPuddleWatch is the most British thing to have ever happened on the internet.
