Judge accuses PR pro of intimidation tactics

Jayne Thompson, founder and CEO of Jayne Thompson & Associates, is handling the public relations for Switzerland-based Syngenta, which is embroiled in a class-action lawsuit involving the herbicide atrazine.
Circuit Judge William Mudge said Thompson’s PR campaign sought to cast the Madison County judicial system in a negative light. The plaintiff’s attorney characterized it as “intimidation.”
In an interview with the Madison Record, Thompson called the accusations “ridiculous” and “untrue.”
