Launching a startup? Look to NOLA

Might want to take that idea for a social media or PR agency to New Orleans, which Inc. magazine named the ‘Coolest Start-up City in America.’

The biz mag reports that from 2007 to 2009, roughly 450 out of every 100,000 adults launched businesses in the area—far surpassing the national average of 320. A big part of the reason is that so many people had to rebuild their lives in the wake of Hurricane Katrina, which ravaged the area in 2005.
