Campbell’s recalls mislabeled soup

Cans of SpaghettiOs that were labeled as chicken broth are being pulled to avoid allergy problems.

“As a result of the mislabeling, the product does not declare the presence of wheat, milk and soy, which are known allergens,” according to a statement from Campbell’s. “In an abundance of caution, Campbell is retrieving the 80 cases of canned pasta labeled as Swanson 100 percent Natural Chicken Broth from the market. This recall does not affect any other Campbell products.”

The mix-up happened at a facility in Paris, Texas, on July 24. The cases were then shipped to a distribution center that serves Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Texas, according to the release.
