‘Math’ receipt goes viral
A customer who didn’t have time to calculate a tip left a message so funny that the server had to document it.
A recent Reddit post from a server titled “Drunk people at my work have no time to waste” shows the tip line on a receipt filled in with the word “Math,” and the total adding up to $15.
As a former server and bartender, I can say that I’d be happy to open my calculator app on my phone and figure out the $15.00 minus $9.54 theorem, especially since it means a nearly 60 percent tip.
