McDonald’s shows consumers what’s really inside McNuggets

The fast food’s transparency campaign continued with a recent video showing the process of the iconic–and questioned–menu item. Audiences didn’t seem to buy it, and sales are continuing to decline.

Never mind the fact that it is only succeeding in reminding people that the meat is worth questioning in the first place.

Earlier this year, McDonald’s launched a campaign titled “Our Food, Your Questions.” It gave everyday people the opportunity to ask some very real and pointed questions of the Big Mac makers, like: “What’s in a Chicken McNugget?”

The second part of this campaign actually seeks out the answer. If you were on the fence on whether or not to ever put one of those vile things in your mouth, a jaunt around the factory will probably seal the deal for you, one way or another.

McDonald’s tweeted about the video, and it would seem that the general public still isn’t buying its story:
