Nestlé recalls thousands of Drumsticks

The food manufacturing company is taking one of its most iconic ice cream products off the shelves until Listeria concerns are alleviated. Here’s the scoop.

Nestlé is the latest ice cream brand to issue a Listeria-threatened recall.

After some of its Drumstick products tested positive for Listeria, a recall was issued for the Drumstick Club 16 Count Variety Pack and 24 Count Vanilla Pack.

Customers who purchased the products are encouraged to return them to where they were originally purchased.

“The quality and safety of our products remain our number one priority,” a company spokesperson said in a statement. “We apologize for any inconvenience this action represents for both our consumers and retail customers.”
