The interruption came just after the magazine published a lauded feature with images of 35 women who accused Bill Cosby of sexual assault.

New York magazine has been widely lauded this week for its exceptional cover story about the many assault allegations against comedian Bill Cosby.

Thirty-five women who accused Cosby of sexual assault graced the magazine’s cover. Photographer Amanda Demme photographed each of the women in an identical pose and included a symbolic empty chair among them.

New York magazine’s coup was marred, however, by a possible hacking incident that shut down its website until around noon on Monday.

Our site is experiencing technical difficulties. We are aware of the issue, and working on a fix.
