New York Times discovers fake Twitter accounts trend

C’mon New York Times, this story is so two years ago.

In fact, you could argue that unless someone is playfully mocking your public persona in 140 characters or less, you’re not important.

The phenomena is nothing new. Apparently no one told that to The New York Times. The Gray Lady published a story this week, “Fake Twitter accounts get real laughs.”

I’m not usually one to call out a newspaper for being so two years ago. But c’mon, New York Times … this story is SO TWO YEARS AGO.
