No PR in the world will salvage Jeremy Piven’s name in theater circles
Remember when actor Jeremy Piven bailed on a play he was slated to headline, citing mercury poisoning from sushi? The producers said he broke a contract. An arbitrator sided with Piven and said the actor was not in breach of contract. To exact revenge, the theater is staging a play recounting the Piven incident called, “The Piven Monologues.” Piven’s attorney has sent a cease-and-desist letter to the producers. Maybe he should invest his money in another publicist.
