One of our favorite Tumblr accounts: Dumb Tweets @ Brands
Need a quick chuckle? Here’s a blog that highlights some of the ridiculous tweets people send to brands.
Take @suncitypretty, for example. She mentioned the brand page @SlimJim recently, berating the company for its marketing strategy: “@SlimJim I don’t like that you advertise to men. I’m a girl and I like slim jim too.”
Applebees seems to be a particularly popular target of dumb tweets, including this gem from @josh_couper: “I thought Id get some work done on your free wifi but it’s so slow I can hardly load Google Your ploy of fake Internet tricked me.” A post-modern tragedy if there ever was one.
