Only 5 percent of consumers accept recommendations from bloggers

Bloggers might create a lot of buzz for your company or product, but a new study from Mintel found that they hold little sway over consumers. Only 5 percent of Internet users who responded to Mintel’s survey cited bloggers as the source of their product recommendations. Meanwhile, 34 percent cited a friend or relative, while 25 percent said husband, wife or partner.
