Palin’s spokesperson Meghan Stapleton resigns

You know Stapleton; she has been the ex-governor’s lightning rod and strategic advisor since 2006, and now she plans to spend more time with her husband and 2-year-old daughter. We’ll always remember Stapleton’s befuddlement when she went on CNN during Fourth of July weekend to explain her boss’s sudden resignation from the Alaskan governorship. Stapleton looked as surprised as the rest of us.
