Pinterest releases its 2016 diversity goals
The social media platform said that by sharing the information, it’s making its team ‘accountable to make meaningful changes.’
The organization released its diversity goals on its blog Thursday, and is the first in its industry to do so.
Fusion reports that Google, Facebook and other tech companies now offer training to cut down on workplace bias, but many Silicon Valley executives still believe the diversity issue exists because there aren’t enough women and minorities to hire. Fusion reporter Kristen V. Brown writes:
