Poll: Most CEOs prefer Mitt Romney
The former Massachusetts governor is the most popular GOP candidate among the nation’s chief executives.
A poll from ChiefExecutive.net reveals that 43 percent of CEOs chose Romney as their preferred GOP candidate. Romney was followed by Herman Cain with nearly 26 percent, and Jon Huntsman with 8.1 percent.
From ChiefExecutive.net:
“Though the CEO vote in itself isn’t enough to change the outcome of elections, it is extremely important. With immense influence, powerful donor networks and their own cash for campaign contributions, any candidate with the backing of America’s CEOs will have an advantage over the other candidates.”
