PR is the fourth-most-overrated job, report finds
According to CareerCast’s 2013 jobs report, PR managers’ jobs aren’t worth the stress and competitiveness.
Using data from its annual job ratings report, CareerCast ranked PR manager the fourth-most-overrated job, behind advertising account executive, surgeon, and stockbroker.
CareerCast’s reasoning? Stress levels are well beyond worth it, and it’s highly competitive to land a job. That landscape won’t be changing any time soon, either. PR is one of the most common majors for college graduates.
